Jesus: The Bread of Life

1. Jesus is Our Food from Heaven John 6:25-34
   • What food are we working for?
   • Sermon on the Mount – Matthew 6:25-34
   • Paul’s haunting words – Philippians 3:18-19
   • Jesus’s food – John 4:31-34
   • Feed my lambs – John 21:15-19
   • The “work” that earns eternal life is belief into Jesus.
2. Jesus is the One to Be Taken In – John 6:52-59
   • If Christ is in you, you have eternal life.
   • We are to “feed” on Jesus
   • Life is of the Sprit not the flesh — John 1:11-13
3. Jesus’s Words Offend Many – John 6:60-70
   • He offends the pride we depend on.
   • He offends our terms of who He is supposed to be.
   • He draws a line between his chosen and Satan’s tools.
